Your guide handles navigation, border logistics, and road conditions, while sharing local knowledge on gorilla trekking, national parks, culture, and wildlife. Vehicles are typically 4x4s suited to rough terrain, with flexible itineraries, safe driving, and expert help spotting animals, so you can focus on the experience.
We offer car rental services and rooftop tent camping to make your holiday affordable and adventurous.
Our options are safe and reliable, and you’ll always stay within your budget.
Auto Rental makes self-drive safaris effortless and flexible. Choose your own route, select a 4×4 from our fleet, and set off on a cross-country safari adventure at your own pace.

Uganda offers more adventure safaris, most tourists to Rwanda always combine these two destinations. Kigali to Entabbe

If you are willing to have longer road trips including Kenya, book a car with thus for cross border trips with no back-tracking.

Tanzania can be easily combined with Rwanda. Book from Kigali, through Mwanza - Serengeti and drop off in Arusha.
Rwanda: Akagera National Park is the star of self-drive. It’s a compact savanna park where you can spot the Big Five, including reintroduced lions and rhinos, along with giraffes, zebras, and hippos on Lake Ihema. Roads are well-maintained, gates are clear, and a 4×4 is recommended. Volcanoes and Nyungwe are better done with guides, since primates require permits and trekking.
Uganda: Self-drive is far more popular here. Queen Elizabeth and Murchison Falls offer game drives, tree-climbing lions, and Nile boat cruises. Kidepo is remote but rewarding. Roads vary, so a 4×4 and offline maps help, and gorilla treks still need permits and rangers.
